Lunch Clubs and Enrichment Activities

Children are offered a range of Lunchtime clubs as part of our enrichment offer.

Sports Club

Sports clubs is run by Oxfordshire Skills Aquisition Academy (OSAA) on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12-12.30pm for Key Stage 2 pupils (Phoenix and Pegasus class). We do ask that they stay signed up for a half term once joined, in order for us to register accurately. Please note pupils walk over to the village field for this club with staff from OSAA. There is no charge for this club and school cover the cost.

Lunchtime inflatable football will be available periodically throughout the year and is run by Footykids. It is available for pupils in Tucana, Phoenix and Pegasus. This also takes place at the village field.  We will communicate when the next try out days and clubs are running via the school newsletter and MCAS. Bookings are done directly through the footykids website and there is a cost to these sessions.

Other lunchtime activities will be run on an ad hoc basis this term, with pupils able to join in if they choose to in the moment. Activities include: chess; litter picking; outdoor explorers; gardening; walks with Wilma and music/dance.

Throughout the year there will be other enrichment opportunities through our community links with Big Fish project; Adventure Plus; Great and Small and more!

We also facilitate guitar and violin lessons run by Oxfordshire County  Music Service. For more information or to book click here: Learning an instrument | Oxfordshire County Council
