Achievement & Standards

St Peter's prides itself on its excellent academic results and also strongly recognises and acknowledges that these results are only a part of what children achieve at school.  Small cohorts such as ours means each child accounts for between 7-9% in our data.  

We offer, and aim for, high academic standards. We know and understand that every child learns at a different rate. Where necessary, extra help is provided through our intervention programmes and children who are identified as more able are challenged and their learning broadened appropriately.  We use a range of standardised, formative and summative assessments to ensure we can accurately measure where are pupils are and how much progress they have made from their starting points.
